The cemetery was begun before the turn of the century as a family cemetery with a strict set of guidelines. Once the Grand Coulee Dam was built and the lake created, graves that had been in the low lands were moved to this cemetery, few of them identified. The Cemetery is at T28N R36E S31 and is privately owned. For years the cemetery was neglected, but in recent years family members have been holding annual work days and their labors are obvious. At one time there was a small chapel here, family members have erected a small chapel building that they use for appropriate events.
