Location: Section 12, T12N, R7W. Off highway 6. The Wallace Campbell family arrived in 1879 and created this cemetery because there was an old oak tree there. Some 18 graves were supposed to have been under the edge of the old oak tree. As late as the 1960s the property owners (farmers) maintained a fence around the site, and often mowed the grounds.
