Owners of property said they were going to do away with cemetery. Oct 1977, some markers were taken by a man who built them in his fireplace. 2 tombstones remained. Presented by Lewis County Genealogical Society, September 2002. Henry M. Koontz, died June 1, 1857, 18 yrs, 10 mo. "Where immortal spirits reign there we shall meet again." Felix G. Koontz, died Dec 7, 1855, 14 yrs. "Here I lay my burden down, change the cross into the crown." These were Mrs. Jackson's children from a former marriage.
