Across from that point is the old family home of John Edmonds Pickernell, the donor of the cemetery. It has been noted from past research that there were several burials upon this land, but one of the past landowners was so eager to till their earth, they moved the stones out of the way! Not all the names of those have been recalled, however, the following are certainly recalled. BEANE, Henry d.18 Mar 1865, drowned in shipwreck of bark Industry.
