Sheldon. James G. Sheldon, 59, of 507 E. 131st St. died Saturday. He was born in Tyler, Spokane County, and had resided in Tacoma for the past 23 years. Mr. Sheldon was a retired guard at McNeil Island Federal Penitentiary, where he had worked for 19 years. He was a member of Steilacoom Masonic Lodge No. 2 and was an Army veteran of the Second World War. Survivors include his wife, Pearl; a son, James, at home; a stepson, Roger Robinson of Beaverton, Ore.; a sister, Irene Delaney of Tacoma, and two grandchildren. Mountain View Funeral Home is in charge. Additional Comments: Wife: Pearl Faith HANSEN (1917-1996). Parents: James H. SHELDON (1895-1954) and Emma FUSCO (1898-1980) (family lived in Centralia, Lewis, WA). Sibling: Irene R. SHELDON DELANEY (1920-2001).
