James H. Sheldon, 61, of 8808 6th Ave., died Wednesday in a local hospital.  
Born in Montesano, he came here from Centralia in 1951.  He had lived in 
Centralia from 1931 to 1951, and was a member of the Centralia Elks Lodge, 
Grant Hodge Post No. 17, American Legion, of Centralia, and was a veteran of 
World War I.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Nellie Sheldon; a son, James 
G. Sheldon of Tacoma; a daughter, Mrs. Irene R. Delaney of Tacoma; a sister, 
Mrs. Blance Morler of San Diego, Calif.; three brother, Glen C. of San 
Francisco, Calif., Benjamin of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Dawson of Clemson 
College, S.C.; and a granddaughter, Rose Marie Delaney of Tacoma.  Services 
will be announced by the Mountain View Funeral Home.

FUNERAL NOTICE:  Tacoma News Tribune, Saturday, January 1, 1955, pg 2:
Sheldon - Services for James H. Sheldon will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the 
Mountain Veiw Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond K. Hudson officiating.  
Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Bud M. 
Bolstead, Graydon B. Hume, Archie W. Noble, Joel A. Nelson, Obed A. Nelson and 
John L. Roberts.

Nellie FUSCO (1898-1975); d.December 29, 1954 Tacoma, Pierce, WA; bu.January 
03, 1955 Mountain View Memorial Park, Tacoma, WA.  Resided in Tono, Thurston 
County and Centralia, Lewis County before moving to Tacoma.
Children:  James Glenn SHELDON (1918-1977) and Irene R. SHELDON DELANEY (1920-
2001).
