William Pix,an old resident of this county,has astounded the people of 
Tumwater,where he now lives,bymarrying.Pix is 75 years of age and is 
wealthy,his possessions being valued at $75,00.He has just returned from 
Seattle,where he last week married a lady physician,who is said to be under 
30.Pix became acquainted with her throghDr.Sarah A.Kendall,who was formerly a 
resident of Tumwater.It is stated that he received a letter a few months ago 
from the lady he has married,stating her desire to make his acwuaintance with 
matrimonial intent.He was willing,and as a result the old man has a young 
bride and is now repairing his house prepatory to bringing her home.
