Joe Pettijohn Arrested Monday for Seduction
Upon a complaint charging him with seduction, and filed by a girl named Mary 
McGuire, a young man named Joe Pettijohn was arrested Monday evening by 
W.W.Laws and taken to Vancover to await trial. The young woman is soon to 
become a mother, and it is stated her ruin was brought about under a promise of 
marriage.
Pettijohn has made no statement in his behalf, so far as has been ascertained.
