Robert Mitchell spent Monday in Portland. Joe McAllister spent Wednesday in Vancouver. Miss Lulu Bybee of Mill PLain is on the sick list. Mrs.W.R.Crogan spent the day in Portland on Wednesday. J.E.Miller of Prune Mill was a visitor in town yesterday morning. H.S.Parker came over from Portland Wednesday for a short visit. Frank Finley, the Prune Hill rancher, was a visitor in the city yesterday morning. T.W.Armstrong of Fern Prairie came in to the city Monday. Mrs.Harry White was a passenger for Portland on Monday morning. Peter Berggren, the well known Fern Prairie rancher, was in the city Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm.Edmunds went to Portland this morning to spend the day. Henry Latham of Oak Park has leased the Robert Mitchell house on Fifth street. E.Fessenden, who is now residing in Washougal, was in the city Monday. Chas.Kramer visitied at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gay Bybee of Mill Plain on Sunday. Attorney J.D.Currie attended the meeting of the Washougal town council on Monday evening. Rev.Mr.Skates will occupy the pulpit at the Church of Christ on next Sunday week at the evening services. Mr. and Mrs. H.P.Nelson of Portland, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M.j.O'Brien. E.Templer, who recently sold his Fern Prairie ranch, will go to Canada after leaving this part of the country. Prosecuting Attorney J.O.Blair came up from Vancouver Tuesday afternoon to secure evidence in the Pettijohn case. Miss Lillian Shaffer, who was operated upon for appendicitis a shrt time ago, was taken to the hospital at Vancouver on Monday morning.It is thought that she will be able to return in a few days. J.O.Drury, who left here last fall and hwo has been railroading in La Grand,Ore, arrived in town Saturday.He came to close out his business interests here and intends settling permanently in La Grand.
