"State of Washington, County of Snohomish - This is to certify that the 
undersigned, a Justice of the Peace, by authority of a license bearing date 3rd 
day of December A D 1940, issued by the county of Skagit, on the 15th day of 
December A D 1940 at the hour of 2 pm in the County and State of forsaid join 
in lawful wedlock William W Bowman of Los Angeles of the State of California 
and Bernice Goodner of Los Angeles of the State of California with their mutual 
assent in the presence of Maud A. Saxby and W. J. Saxby, Witnesses."

Additional Comments:
William Wayne Bowman was the son of William Nicholas and Rachel Cordelia 
Knowles Bowman of Decatur, Illinois.  William Wayne Bowman died 7 June 1941 
while traveling through Siskiyou County, California.  He was 41 years old. He 
is buried in Acacia Memorial Cemetery in Seattle.
