Immediately after the tragedy,the son hastened to the sheriff's officeand surrender himself. According to the son's story,his father came home and threatened to kill Mrs.Carlson and Carlson,Jr. They ran upstairs and locked themselves in a room.Carlson,Sr., broke in the door,and was immediately shot.He is now in a hospital and will probably die.
