She was born May 25, 1921, in Beebe, Wash., to John and Della (Johnson) Rausch and moved to the local area from Sonora, Calif., in 1992. Mrs. Bower was an air traffic controller in Wenatchee during World War II and was a waitress and bartender for many years. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Neil C. Bower; two daughters, Gail Beasley and Zsaniel Bower; a stepdaughter, Pamela Gooch-Murphy; a stepson, Greg Cosmo; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Columbia Funeral Service. Mrs. Bower's ashes will be buried in Wenatchee.
