B. Chinn Expires in Seattle After Brief Illness Seattle, April 1- AP E.B. Chinn, 50, vice-president and general manager for more than 10 years of the loggers information bureau, and one of the best-known men connected with the logging industry in the Pacific northwest, died here today after three days' illness. Mr. Chinn was also the treasurer of the Federated Industries of Washington, of the state Federation of Taxpayers' Association, of the Western Operators' association and of the Mercantile Corporation of Seattle. He conducted a fight for a tariff against British Columbia logs, which resulted in congressional action five years ago. He was born at Chippewa Falls, Wis. and came to Seattle on 1900.
