Price, again took charge of it a few weeks ago.Ferry endeveared to secure a footing in literary circles here, and became interested in the Unitarian church. He was melancholy and dispirite, however, much of the time and felt that he was not sufficiently appreciated. As a printer he complained that the typographical union was not fairly managed, and that men were given preference over others in the union y unjust discrimination, and he was in the habit of citing practices in the Seattle union to prove his allegations. He fancied himself to be superior to men who had been more fortunate in securing employment, and this embittered him.His bent of mind mae him a very ardent member of the people's party, and no proposed economic change was too radical for him.He finally became disheartened that he talked to several of his acquanitances here of the desirability of suicide and suggested that he would probably end his lifeby his own hand. While his talk was not regarded as serious, those who knew of it were not surprised when the news was received that he had killed himself.Ferry came to Washington from Decatur Ill., and has spent a considerable portion of the time since his arrival on the ranch on which he died.Being out of money, and depsairing of reforming the world,he gave up the struggles.he was about 38 years old.
