Ronald E. "California" Lay, of Kelso, passed away October 10, 2005 in Spokane, 
Washington. 

He was born October 1, 1950 in Herlong, California. Beloved husband, father, 
grandfather, brother & son. 

He is survived by his wife, Annie L. Lay; and parents, Marjorie & Elwin Lay of 
Modesto, California. He is also survived by 7 children, son and daughter-in-law 
Steven & Debbie O'Dell, son Ronald E. Lay, Jr., daughter and son-in-law Sherry 
& Rick Colley, son Mathew Lay, son and daughter-in-law Timothy & Laura Lay, son 
Rocky Lay and step-daughter Shawna Petersen; six grandchildren and one on the 
way, Ashley & Magan (O'Dell) Guilmet, Michael & Michelle Lay, Timothy Lay, Jr. 
and Savanna Petersen; 4 siblings, brother Keith Lay, brother and sister-in-law 
Kenneth & Linda Lay and family, brother and sister-in-law David & Pam Lay and 
family, and sister Judy Lay and family. 

Services will be held in Santa Rosa, California at Dillon Beach on Saturday, 
October 22, 2005 at 2p.m.
