Tacoma Woman,Age 128,Dies 
Tacoma Wash.-One of the oldest persons in the UNited States,by her own claims 
and those of her family,Mrs.Telka Staezewski died at a local hospital at the 
age of 128 years.Adams was elected second president of the United States the 
year Mrs.Stanezewski was born,1796,if the records kept by family are correct.
In an interview conducted with some difficulty through an interpreter the age 
of the dead woman was substantiated by her daughter,Mrs.Rose Paulinsky of 
Centralia,and a granddaughter,Mrs.B.D.Bailey of Tacoma.They declared 
Mrs.Stanezewski ceebrated her 128th birthday last December.
Mrs.Stanezewski came to the UNited states about 30 yeas ago and had been a 
resident of Tacoma 10 months.Until last February she was actve and enjoyed 
good health.
A son,another daughter,and four grandchildren also survive.
