Mrs. Thomas, wiow of the late Rev. W.H. Thomas of Shelton,Washington,was a sister of H.E.Browne. She had become known by numerous people in Canby, having spent several weeks here every summer for the past four years with the writer and family. A letter received from her a few days before she took sick outlined her plans for another visit in this city next month. The funeral was held in Seattle forenoon and internment was in Everett, Washington, beside her husband who preceded her in death by several years. Mrs. Thomas was 70 yeasr of age at the time of her death and had lived in Washington more than twenty five years. She is survived by one son, L.W.Thomas, and a daughter,Mrs.Mabel Richards of Seattle, and four brothers,G.D.Browne,Endeabvor,Wis;E.J. Browne,Madison,Wisconsin;H.E.Browne,Canby,oregon; and F.D.Browne,Milwaukiee,Wis.
