He owns a good farm, which is improved with good buildings, fences, and so forth. Thirty acres of the place are under cultivation and in addition to handling this, Mr. Bethurum devotes attention to raising stock. He is a man of energy and has done much for the welfare of the community as well as manifesting good industry and wisdom in his own enterprises. He has served as justice of the peace and the people of the district have chosen him as road supervisor, in both of which positions he has shown good ability.
