Mannion of Olympia died Tuesday at St. Peter Hospital. He was born in Erie, Pa., and moved with his family to Aberdeen at the age of 12. He lived there for 41 years and was employed as a supervisor for ITT Rayonier. Following his retirement five years ago he moved to Olympia. He was a member of the B.P.O.E., and the Knights of Columbus in Hoquiam. Among his survivors are his wife, Ann, Olympia; two daughters, Patricia Duncan, Seattle, and Rita Meadows, Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Irene Bailey, San Jose, Calif.; also two grandchildren. A private rosary and Mass of Christian burial will be offered for the family Friday at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family suggest memorial donations may be made to St. Martin's College or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Woodlawn Funeral Home.
