The Dardine boy, with his brother, was returning home from school, and seeing the door of the cabin open, the two entered.A small caliber rifle was lying on the table, and the elder of the lads started to pick it up.As he did so the man in the cabin jumped toward the table and snatched the gun. The weapon was discharched and the bullet tore away the lad's trachea. The loss of blood caused death in half an hour.
