Pierce, of Amboy,lost two children by drowning in Cedar Creek Monday forenoon. Their ages were 3 and 5 years. Both were girls. Mr.Pierce was working across the creek from his home, and it is supposed that the children attempted to cross the creek on a board and lost their footing. Mr.Pierce found one child near the crossing, and the other was found about 200 yards below. They had been in the water about half an hour before they were missed.
