Gas Kills Hotel Clerk
Spokane Man Is Suffocated As He Sleeps
Spokane,Wash.,Nov.13-Elmer sleeper,aged 21,night clerk at the Columbia 
Hotel,this city,was asphyxiated while asleep in his room last night by gas 
which had been turned on suddenly through an uncapped pipe. The responsibility 
for the affair has not been settled. Sleeper's father lives in Albion,Mich. 
His father's name is Elgin H.Sleeper
