Leona Violet Snider, 81, of St. Helens, Ore., died March 25, 2006. 

She was born March 29, 1924, in Delena, Ore., to Emory Ward and Mary Jane 
Miller and she attended schools in Warren, Ore. 

On May 8, 1954, she married Warren G. Snider. They lived in St. Helens and 
Seward, Alaska, until returning to Oregon. Mr. Snider preceded her in death in 
Sept. 1988. 

Mrs. Snider was a homemaker. 

She is survived by three daughters, Beckie, Shirley and Patsi (last names 
unavailable); two sons, James Snider and Wayne Snider; a brother, Fred Miller; 
a sister, Lottie Quinn; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous 
nieces and nephews. 

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Scappoose-St. Helens SDA Church. 
A graveside service will follow at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Warren. The 
viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Columbia Funeral Home in 
St. Helens.
