Drowned in the Creek
Walla Walla,Wash.,march 5-The body of Mrs.O'Neil,aged 60 years,was found in 
Mill Creek underneath the Main street bridge this morning at 9 o'clock,She had 
been ona protracted drunk several weeks. last night she left home about 9 
o'clock ans was not seen gain unitl the body was found in the morning. It is 
supposed that while in a drunken condition she fell off the bridge and was 
drowned.The coroner held an inquest this afternoon.The jury retuirned a 
verdict that she came to her death by drowning.When taken out of the water her 
head was badly bruised by falling on the rocks.She was a confirmed drunkard 
and had served several terms in the county jail for vagarncy.She was the wife 
of P.O'neill,a life insurance agent of this city
