He is incorrectly listed as "Robert Elmore." He was the son of Darius Elmore & Mary "Polly" Young Elmore, who are buried in this cemetery. Son Lastie is shown as Boyd L. Elmore, living with Mary Kenoyer, Daisy's mother, next door to Daisy in the 1910 Census. His WWI Draft Registration Card, dated June 5, 1918, gives his name as Boyd Lastie Elmore, born July 13, 1896 in Ten Mile, Whatcom County, Washington. He works for his mother, Daisy F. Walker and he is tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair and eyes. By 1930, Boyd was married to Winifred and living in North River, Pacific County, Washington. Per the Social Security Death Index, Boyd died in December 1964 in Redondo, King County, Washington. 3. Alonzo John Elmore, son of William Thomas Elmore, Sr. & Daisy Forest Kenoyer Elmore, was born Jan 10, 1892 in Ten Mile, Whatcom Co., Washington. His WWI Draft Registration card of June 5, 1917 shows him as single, working as a self-employed logger, and he is exempt from service because he is crippled. He is described as short and slender, with black hair and eyes and that he walks with crutches. In the 1920 Census, Alonzo, William Thomas, Jr., Boyd Lashtie, and Lola Alice are all living together, likely in the old family home as Alonzo is shown as the owner and that the property is free and clear. Alonzo is a musician, William and Boyd are logers, and Lola is unemployed.
