Morning Oregonian October 18, 1904
Bellingham,Was.,Oct.17- Frances Simonson,a 7 year old boy, lies near death at 
Everson, with a bullet in his head. Walter Barrow, 13 years old, yesterday 
fired a 22 rifle at a squirrel, the ball struck the squirrel, glanced and struck 
young Simonson, who was at play in the backyard of his home.
