Details are meager, but it is learned that Mr.Drew had been gathering and hauling fruit from his orchard and that his team ran away. it is supposed Mr.Drew fell from the wagon and that it passed over him.When found he was dead, with his head horribly crushed.Mr.Drew was about 45 years of age and owned a large estate. He had farmed here for many years,and at all times was succesful. He always had plenty of cash by him and did a large business lending money on real estate. he was highly respected and had a large acquaintance and a host of friends in Whitman Co,Wash., and Latah County,Idaho. His fine ranch is on the line between the two counties. Mr.Drew left a wfie and an adopted daughter. the news of his sudden death has cast a gloom over Garfield.
