The Cemetery served the Black Rock area, a farming development and village of the turn of the century which was heavily promoted but failed for lack of water. Today, the area contains some dryland wheat and cattle operation. The Cemetery was copied by Jack M. Lines for publication in the Yakima Valley Genealogy Society bulletin in 1970. Additional information about the burials in the cemetery was furnished to the society by Mrs. Elsine Brader. The information from Mrs. Brader is placed in ( )'s. Permission for the use of that published information was granted by YVGS on November 6, 1999. The cemetery is on the eastern edge of Section 24, T. 12N, R22E, 3/4 mile south of Highway 24, six miles west of the junction of Highway 24 with Highway 241. It was once apparently a part of the Meeboer Ranch and is reached by a "jeep" road along the section line. -------------------------------------------------------------------- NAME BIRTH DEATH ADCOX, Elizabeth (Mrs.) 1853 1917 Two Granddaughters ADCOX, (Baby) (unmarked grave) CAMERON, (Buster) (1911) (1918) (unmarked grave) MEEBOER, Father (1843) (13 April 1919) (Gysgert Meeboer) MEEBOER, Mother (1848) (8 August 1914) (Aartje Meeboer) MEEBOER, John M.
