Cleghorn 1903-1954 Additional Comments: Emmett is the son of Nettie Gibson who is my great-grandmother and who is also buried in the Elmwood Cememtary. Nettie was married five times. She first married David Spencer in Il and had Luther Spencer. David Spencer died and Nettie married James Cleghorn and had Emmet and Larence Cleghorn. James died after ten years of marriage. Nettie married Joseph Carroll who was quite a bit older than her and had my grandfather Joe Carroll. After Joseph died, she then married Mort Dickerson in South Dakota and had no children with him. The marriage was short and she married a Mr. Gibson. All of her children had musical talents. Emmett played the harmonica, Larence played the fiddle, my grandfather, their half-brother, played the banjo. Emmett and Nettie are buried in Elmwood Cemetary in Toppenish and both have photos submitted. Joseph Carroll is buried in the Zillah Cemetary and also has a photo submitted.
