Summary of article: Memorial Day weekend, 1993, Amanda Hall of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin, on May 29, 1993, rode "Brody's Gold" and won the Illinois Spring Kickoff Futurity at Pit Run Park near Bloomington, IL. Thirty-four nominations competed to place in the top ten in order to race in the Futurity final. Amanda qualified Brodys Gold by setting the second fastest time of the day. At the Futurity final, Amanda won by nearly a full horse's length. Amanda was a 1992 graduate of Adams-Friendship High School. Her parents are George Hall of Grand Marsh and Carol Hall of Westfield. She attends Highland College as a full-time student with a major in Criminal Justice.
