The funeral services of Reuben BLOSS were held at the Congregational Church
in New Chester, on Sunday February 26th.

Mr. BLOSS, at the time of his death, was 77 years of age. he had resided in
the above town for about 35 years, during which time he held many offices
in both town and county, with fidelity. He was an honest man, a good
neighbor, social in disposition, and much esteemed by those acquainted with
him. In his death many regret the loss of a friend and a faithful public
servant.

Mr. BLOSS leaves a widow, one son, Mr. George BLOSS, one daughter, Mrs. I.
HARTSON, beside a large number of relatives more remotely connected, to
mourn his loss.
