Mr. COON was born in the town of Angelica, New York, on November 21st, 1819. He commenced his Christian life at the age of 14 years. He was married in 1840 to Cynthia R. FLINT, and moved to Rock county, Wisconsin, in 1845. He studied medicine at Milton. He came to Adams county in 1870, where he resided up to the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his aged and feeble companion, three children, all living in the town of Adams, as follows: Stephen J., Edwin COON and Lillie E., wife of E. BABCOCK. His funeral took place at his former dwelling on the 9th, and was largely attended. Many expressions of affection and regret at the loss of one so kind, upright and worthy of a man were heard on all sides.
