At the age of fourteen years he located at Springfield, Pennsylvania with his parents. He lived there until 1856 when he came to Wisconsin. After spending one season in Walworth county he settled on his present farm in Springville, Adams county. He was first married January 25, 1839 to Margaret SMITH. To this union were born two sons, and she died October 6, 1841. Mr. HARRIS was then married to Phoebe C. BOWER, and to them six children were born. She died May 10, 1903. Mr. HARRIS passed to the land of Endless Day, June 30, 1904, at the age of 91 years, 7 months and 17 days. The funeral services were held in the home the morning of July 2nd. Reverend H. B. The interment took place at the Olin cemetery where we left him until the Angel of resurrection shall call the muster roll of time. He was of a quiet, unassuming disposition, a good neighbor, kind father and loving husband. In faith, he believed...religion will effect all things, mind, soul and body. --Kilbourn Mirror-Gazette
