Obituary: Adams County, Wisconsin: Louis HAVLIK ************************************************************************ Submitted by Joan Benner, May 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ From the Adams County Press, Saturday March 26, 1904 Louis Havlik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Havlik, of the town of Preston, died March 16th, 1904, aged 16 years, 9 months, of heart disease. Lewis was born in Austria, coming with his parents to this country and settling in Chicago, where they lived until last fall, when Mr. Havlik purchased the Joe Pflager farm in the town of Preston and moved his family there. The young man had been sick for some time, and although no hopes were entertained for his recovery, his death came as a shock to his family and friends. He leaves surviving him a father, mother, four brothers and two sisters, who have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. Funeral services were conducted on March 17th, by Rev. A. H. Smith at the house and the interment was in the Fordham cemetery.
