He was born in the State of Ohio, and married Miss Hannah KELLOGG while living in that state. In 1854, he moved with his family to Packwaukee, and in 1871 moved to this town and lived on the same farm at the time of his death. Of this union nine children were born, Orval, Howard, Carlos and Mrs. Mary FINEL of Armenia, Juneau County, Mrs. Henrietta COON of Big Spring, Mrs. Lenna COOK of Packwaukee, Royal, Walter and Ray of this town. His aged wife still survives him. The many friends extend their sympathy. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. TAYLOR in the New Chester church, Sunday afternoon, January 27th.
