SHEPHARD was born in Dayton, Ohio, April 11th, 1831, and was married to Daniel NOGLE August 26, 1847. She and her husband came to Grand Rapids, Wis. in 1855. She was a lady much loved by those who knew heer for her Christian life and the kindness shown to her neighbors wherever she resided. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. At the time of her death, on the 26th of September of 1907, she was living with her daughter, Mrs. Mary A. RICH on the farm in the town of Preston, Wis. She was the mother of nine children, four boys and five girls of whom two boys and four girls still survive; Mrs. Mary A. RICH of Preston, Wisconsin, Mrs. Emma WHITE of Monroe, Washington, Mrs. Lydia HUTCHINSON of Kilbourn, Wis., Mrs. Estella SHAFFER of Spokane, Wash., Irwin B. NOGLE of Williams Bay, Wis., and William B. NOGLE of Woodstock, Ill. She leaves nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. NOGLE will be greatly missed from the family circle. The remains were taken to the cemetery in the town of Dell Prairie for interment, after brief services at the house. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the community in their loss
