J. QUINNELL, died at the home of her parents south of the village on Friday evening, March 31st, 1911. Deceased was born here on April 8th, 1897, and her infancy and youth have passed in our midst. She was a girl greatly beloved in her home, her pleasant disposition and quiet manner making her a general favorite. Some two years ago she was taken ill, and her sickness developed into consumption. All possible to be done by loving hands, and the best of medical skill was invoked, in hopes that young life might be prolonged and health restored. But such was not to be, and through the long struggle, those near and dear were called upon to see the gradual fading of their hopes. Through her sickness Ella was ever cheerful and bore her suffering with much fortitude and courage. To those called upon to mourn her early demise, the sympathy of the community goes out in their hour of sorrow. Besides her parents, she leaves seven brothers and two sisters to mourn, as well as a large number of other relatives. Funeral services were held from the home Sunday afternoon, April 2nd, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. James Deans, and the remains interred in Mt. Repose cemetery.
