DIED--Mrs. J. M. SCHOFF

Annabelle GRANT was born in Strathmore, Scotland Dec 29, 1831. She was
married to Mr. J. M. SCHOFF in Boston, Massachusetts, and came with her
husband to Adams county in the year 1864 and settled on the farm in Easton,
now occupied by Elmer VAN WIE, where she resided until the farm was sold,
about eleven years ago.

To this union were born four children: Mrs. Emma DUNN of La Crosse; Mrs.
Abbie IRWIN of Easton; D. M. SCHOFF of Kilbourn; Mrs. C. L. LAMPHEAR of
Grass Butte, North Dakota; all of whom were present at her death, which
occurred Monday evening, Nov 16th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. IRWIN
at Easton at the age of nearly 94 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband who died about 22 years ago.
Funeral services were held at the home, Wednesday Nov 18th, conducted by
Rev. Thomas Barker of Adams, and interment was made in the Easton cemetery.
