The circumstances accompanying the death of the deceased are startingly unusual. Henry WORMERT, although in his 67th year, appeared to be one of the strongest and most robust men in a community of strong men. His neighbor Angus KITZELMANN died January 24th, and the following evening Mr. and Mrs. WORMERT were acting as watchers beside the remains of the deceased, with other friends. During the evening the conversation lagged, and Mrs. KITZELMANN requested WORMERT to pray. After a few moments meditation WORMERT complied with the request, praying with much apparent fervor. Soon after saying prayer WORMERT was requested to sing, and he complied, singing with much earnestness and force. As he finished, he commented that the room was very warm, and went out of doors bare-headed. Someone followed him out with his cap, which he took with a smile. A moment later Mr. and Mrs. L. H. NILES, who were looking out of the window, saw WORMERT reel as if in danger of falling. Parties rushed to his side and helped him into the house, where he died in about five minutes, blood flowing from his mouth and nostrils. Evidently he had ruptured a blood vessel. The remains of the two friends were buried last Mnday from the same house, and a joint service was held, Rev. P. R. Staples officiating. Mr. KITZELMANN left a widow and seven children, none of the latter grown up. Mr. WORMERT left a widow and several children, all adults.
