Born in Trempealeau Co., Wis., Aug. 2, 1893.  Enlisted in Troop K, April 22, 1917.  Transferred to Bat. B. Sailed for France March 30.  Landed in U. S. May 4, 1919.  Mustered out May 16, 1919.

Olson, Leonard C.
Born at Herman, Minn., June 15, 1897.  Son of Olaf and Anna Olson, Weyerhaeuser.  Graduated from high school, attended Univ. of Wis., one year.  Entered service at Madison, Wis., Jan. 2, 1918., in 633re Squadron, Kelly Field No. 1., where he trained.  Ill Jan 9 to March 10, with pneumonia and measles, at Jefferson Bar., Mo.  At last report was still in service, expecting to get out in April, 1920.

Sailed for France July 17, 1918.  Transferred to Casuals of 2nd Engineer.  Saw action in battle of St. Mihiel, one month, was taken sick, sent to hospital for three days.  Landed in U. S. June 30, and mustered out July 10, 1919.

Parker, Hiram O.
Born in Wisconsin, on March 17, 1895.  Son of Theodore and Ella Parker.  Entered service at Ladysmith, May 25, 1918,  assigned to Co. H, 342d Inf., Camp Grant.  Sailed for France Sept. 9, 1918.  Transferred to Co. I, 55th Inf.  Saw duty in the Puvenelle Sector.  Ill with tonsilitis, Dec 12, and with mumps Feb. 19, 1919, in France.  Landed in U. S. June 19, and was mustered out June 27, 1919.

Born at Miller, S. Dak., June 29, 1895.  Son of Anna Peterson, Fort City, (May be Forest City) Iowa.  Entered service June 29, 1918, at Camp Dodge, assigned to Co. C, 349th Inf.  Sailed for France July 15, 1918.  Saw action at St. Mihiel.  Landed in U. S. Aug. 3, and was mustered out Aug. 18, 1919.

Peterson, Frederick
Born at Miller, S. D., May 6, 1897.  Son of Anna Peterson, Forest City, Iowa.  (Maybe Fort City) Entered service June 29, 1918, assigned to Co. C, 338th M. Gun Batn., Camp Dodge.  Sailed for France July 22, 1918.  In action in St. Mihiel.  Landed in U. S. on June 4, and mustered out June 11, 1919.

Peterson, Hans C.
Born at Somers, Wis., Feb. 1, 1895.  Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson.  Enlisted at Jefferson Bar., Mo., May 17, 1917, in Bat. D, 18th F. A.  Trained at Fort Bliss, Texas.  Sailed for France April 20, 1918.  Saw action in Champagne-Marne Def., Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne.  Landed in U. S. Aug. 18, 1919.  Mustered out July 9, 1919, re-enlisted at Polch, Germany is stationed at Camp Pike, Ariz.

Pilorski, Anton
Born at Chicago, Ill., Dec. 28th 1896.  Son of Joe and Jessie Pilorski. Entered service Sept. 28, 1918, at Camp Shelby, Miss., assigned to 12th co., Recruit Depot.  Transferred to 4th co. Replacement Camp.  Mustered out Jan. 29, 1919.

Pinnow, William Fred
Born at Superior, Wis.,  Feb. 17, 1894.  Son of Herman and Augusta Pinnow.  Entered service July 23, 1918, at Ladysmith, assigned to Co. C, 354th Inf., Camp Grant.  Sailed for France Sept. 8, 1918.  Was in action at St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne.  Wounded Nov. 11, in Argonne Woods.  Landed in U. S. May 22 and was mustered out May 31, 1919.

Plummer, Lawrence A.
Born at Black River Falls, Wis., Aug. 19, 1898.  Son of Mrs. Laura Plummer.  Enlisted in Troop K, March 13, 1917. Discharged Aug. 4, 1917, being under 18 years of age.

Pokel, Edward
Born at Plymouth, Wis., Jan. 6, 1897.  Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pokel.  Entered service at Fort George Wright, Wash., Dec. 4, 1917,  assigned to 240 Aero Squadron, Kelly Field, Texas.  Trained at Hazelhurst Field, Mineola, N. Y.  Sailed for France Sept. 1, 1918.  Transferred to 666th Squadron, to 654th to 828, Squadron.  Ill with pneumonia, Jefferson Bar., Mo. Portman, George

Sailed for France on June 8, 1918.  Promoted to rank of Master Electrician.  Landed in U. S. Dec. 23 and mustered out Dec. 25, 1918.

Portman, Peter
Born at Kaukauna, Wis., Sept. 10, 1893.  son of Emil and Mary Portman.  Entered service at Milwaukee, in Oct. 1917.  Trained at Camp Grant, in Texas and Mississippi.  Promoted to rank of sergeant.  Mustered out April 15, 1919.

Preston, Eldon A.
Born at Black River Falls, Wis., Feb., 15, 1896.  Son of George G. and Anna Belle Preston, Ladysmith.  Enlisted in Troop K, April 14, 1917.  Transferred to Bat. B, and remained with it until mustered out May 16, 1919.  Ill Nov. 11 to Jan 31, 19919, Neufchateau, France.

Presher, James C. 
Born at Black River Falls, Wis., March 13, 1898.  Son of Mrs. Dora Presher.  Enlisted in Troop K, April 14, 1917.  Transferred to Battery (?), and remained with it until mustered out May 16, 1919,  Ill with Diphtheria June 6 to 14, 1918, France.

Perdum, Fred Arthur
Born at Brownsville, Ohio, Aug. 8, 1896.  Son of Charles and Sarah Purdum.  Entered service at Ladysmith, Oct. 24, 1918, assigned to 8th Co., Inf. Replacement, Camp Shelby.  Ill with Flu Nov. 5, to 15, 1918.  Mustered out Dec 21, 1918.

Putnam, Gail O.
Born at Chippewa Falls, wis, May 22,  1898.  Son of F. J. and Agnes Putnam.  Entered service at Milwaukee, on July 20, 1918, in 18th Co., Prov. Detach., Jefferson Barracks.  Sailed for France Sept. 13, 1918.  Transferred to 1st Army Medical Detachment.  In Action in Meuse-Argonne.  Landed in U. S. June 22, and mustered out July 2, 1919.

Reed, Earl Leonard
Born at Black River Falls, Wis., June 21, 1895. Son of Leonard and Manda Reed, Ladysmith.  Entered service a Ladysmith July 23, 1918, assigned to 7th Co., 161st Depot Brigade, Camp Grant, also trained at Camp Logan, Texas.  Transferred to 21st Depot Brigade, to 7th Train Co., Camp Logan.  Mustered out Jan. 23, 1919.

Renecker, Roy Emerson
Born in Todd Co., Minn., January 3, 1897.  Son of Arthur and Ida Renecker.  Enlisted in 16th Co. First Wisconsin Cavalry, in Milwaukee, Oct. 18, 1917.  Transferred to Battery A, 120th F. A.  Ill Oct. 23 to Dec. 10, 1917, Jefferson Barracks, Mo., operation.  Remained with Bat A until mustered out May 16, 1919.

Richardson, Edward William
Born at Marietta, Ohio, Jan. 27, 1891.  Son of R. W. and R. M. Richardson, Hawkins, Wis.  Enlisted in Troop K, April 14, 19917.  Transferred to Battery B.  Ill with pneumonia, March 11, 1918 also Oct. 1918, England.  Transferred to 302st Btn Tank Corps.  Promoted to rank of corporal.  Landed in U. S. March 16, 1919.  Mustered out April 11, 1919.

Trained at Fort Riley Kansas.  Promoted to rank of corporal.  Mustere out Jan 10, 1919, and reenlisted for three years in Troop I, 11th Cavalry, Camp Hearn, Imperial Beach, Cal. in April, 1919.

Robbins, Thomas E.  
Born at Antigo, Wis., Dec. 15, 1895.  Son of T. H. and E. A. Robbins, Ladysmith.  Graduate of Ladysmith High school.  Enlisted in Troop K, April 14, 1917.  Transferred to Battery B, to Hdqrs. Detach., 57th F. A. Brigade.  Sick with appendicitis, Sept. 20, 1917, Camp MacArthur.  Mustered out May 17, 1919.

Robinson, Clarke
Born in N. Dak., July 7, 1893.  Stepson of Mrs. Geo. H. Mead, Ladysmith.  Attended high school three years.  Entered service at Fort Riley Kansas, June 24, 1918, assigned to Casual Co. Trained at Fort Riley Kansas.  Sailed for France on Nov. 10, 1918.  Transferred to Evac. Ambulance co. No. 40.  Promoted to  rank of Bugler.  Landed in U. S. Jan. 27, and mustered out Feb. 21, 1919.

Robinson, Orrin J.
Born at Vermillion, S. Dak., Oct., 31, 1896.  son of Edwin and Ada Robinson, Glen Flora.  Entered service at Minot, N. Dak., Aug. 5, 1918, in co. L. 9th Inf. Replacement.  Trained at Camp MacArthur, Texas.  Sailed for France Sept. 20, 1918.  Transferred to Co. B, 9th Inf.  Saw service in the battle of Meuse-Argonne. Roesler, Charles A.
Born at Cashton, Wis., April 4, 1882.  Son of Adolph and Louisa Roesler.  Entered the service Oct. 24, 1917, assigned to Co. B, 7th Engineers.  Trained at fort Leavenworth.  Sailed for France on March 16, 1918.  Transferred  to Co., B, 328 M. Gun Batn.  In action in St. Mihiel and in the Meuse-Argonne.  Wounded  Oct. 14, 1918 near Varrennes, bullet in thigh.  Landed in U. S. April 11, mustered out April 26, 1919.

Rowley, Glenn
Born at Claremont, Minn., March 17, 1897.  Son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowley, Ladysmith.  Enlisted in Troop K, April 14, 1917.  Transferred to Bat. B, and remained with it until mustered out May 16, 11919.  Promoted to rank of cook.

Rowley, Noble P.
Born at Minneapolis, Minn., May 20, 1894.  Son of William and Lucia G. Rowley, Ladysmith.  Entered the service March 27, 1917, at Jamestown N. D., in Co. H, 164th Inf.  Trained at Camp Green, N. Car.  Sailed for France Dec. 12, 1917.  Landed in U. S. Feb. 26, and was mustered out in March 1919.

Rudnik, Leo
Born in Poland in July 1902.  Entered the service at Ladysmith, on June 15, 1919, in Chasseur Troupes Polonaise, 9th Campagnie, Polish Army.  Saile July 5, 1918.  Still in Polish Army.

Russell, Charles A.
Born at Chippewa Falls, Wis., Sept. 25, 1890.  son of Frank S. and Katherine Russell.  Entered service at Green Bay, Wis., Dec. 8, 1917, in 108th Aero Squadron.  Trained at Carruthers Field, Forth Worth, Texas.  Promoted to rank of Mess Sergeant.  Mustered out Mar. 19, 1919.

Ryall, Ernest V.
Born at Lyonsville, Cal., June 19, 1895.  Son of John L. and Julia E. Ryall.  Attended Univ, of Wis.  three years.  Entered the service August 27, 1917, at Fort Sheridan, Ill.  Graduated from 2nd Reserve Officer's Training Camp and commissioned 2nd Lieutenant of Inf., assigned to Co. A, 10th Inf.  Sailed for France Jan. 15, 1918.  Transferred to Co. C, 18th Inf.  Cited in Battle of Slissons.  In action at Cantigny, Soissons.  Gassed March 11, 1918, Verdun.  Wounded by machine gun bullet in right wrist July 18 and my machine gun bullet in right chest July 19, 1918, Battle of Soissons.  Landed in U. S. Feb/ 16, mustered out March 26, 1919.

Ryall, John M.
Born at Minooka, Ill., on July 7, 1893.  Graduate of Ladysmith High School.  Entered service at Milwaukee, Wis. in July 1918.  Trained at Jefferson Bar, Mo.  Sailed for France Nov. 10, 1918.  Transferred from Camp Crane, to Camp Dix, M. H. U. 101, C. H. 33, on duty driving car and general hospital work.  Landed in U. S. Nov. 3, mustered out Nov. 11, 1919.

Ryser, Cornelius P.
Born at Chicago, Ill., July 7, 1893.  Son of C. G. And Anna Ryser.  Graduate of Business College.  Entered service at Ladysmith July 7, 1918, assigned to 209th Field signal Batn.  Trained at CAmp Sheridan.  Leg broken below the knee, in a stree car car accident Nov. 17, 1918, at Camp Sheridan, Ala.  Mustered out Dec. 11, 1918.

Transferred to Hdqrs. Co., 3rd Inf.  Suffered blood poison in right hand.  July 15, 1918, Eagle Pass, Texas.  Mustered out Sept. 1919.

Sergeant, Marshall W.
Born at Winneconne, Wis., March 15, 1892.  Son of William S. and Emma Sergeant, Sheldon.  Graduate of Univ. of Wis.  Entered service at Fort Sheridan, Ill., Aug. 27, 1917.  On graduation from 2nd Reserve Officer's Training Camp, was commissioned 1st Lieutenant, of Inf.,  Sailed for France Jan. 11, 1918.  On duty as instructor for new outfits preparing them for the front.  In action at St. Mihiel, and Meuse-Argonne.  Wounded Oct. 10, 1918, at Cunel, Meuse-Argonne.  Ill with Flu in Mar. 1918.  Landed in U. S. July 5, and was mustered out Aug. 1, 1919.
