Hall came to Barron County about 1875 and purchased 120 acres in the SE corner of section 36 of Arland township. His father, Dr. Benjamin F. Hall, resided at Mooney's Mill, now known as Hillsdale. Frank T. Hall operated a Saw Mill, a small Dairy and kept Bees. He also provided the Hall School a one room school house on his property at the corner of what is now 6th ave and 14th street. He married the widow Augusta May Waite Flint and they had six daughters, Grace, Esther, Hattie, Mabel, Olive and Nora in addition to Augusta's three prior children, John Flint, Myrtle Frank and Mina Frank. Augusta's brother, Willard Washington Waite, had 40 acres in section 2 of Prairie Farm, and her sister, Gertrude Waite, married George Trepus, who had 80 acres in section 11 of Prairie Farm. In 1908, Frank sold his farm and the family moved to Olympia in Washington State. The saw mill and the bee house are gone and the original barn burned in 1930, but the Hall home remains and has been recently restored. Frank T. Hall passed away in 1937 at Olympia, WA.
