Mrs. D. O. HALL is on the sick list. Will SNYDER, of IL., is visiting his mother, Mrs. PEEKER. Miss Myrtle (HALL) spent Thanksgiving at home. Mrs. E. B. MAINE is visiting friends in Elroy, WI. Dr. BEHRENS performed a very successful surgical operation on Mrs. John CARLSON. Dr. BEHRENS was called to Dallas on professional business last Tues. Dr. BEHRENS went to Scandinavia last week to assist in a surgery at that place. Miss Hilda (MOEN) is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Frank SPRAGUE. Miss Lena (RASSBACH) went to Barron last week to accompany her brother, the Sheriff, to Mendota with an insane lady. Mrs. Burton WASHBURN is visitng friends in the southern part of the state. Miss Betsie (STENSAAS) closed a very successful term of school in the town of Vance Creek. Mr. & Mrs. Geo. E. SCOTT entertained their friends at their home last Friday evening. Mrs. Tom TIBBITS is visitng friends in Prairie Farm. Geo. E. SCOTT transacted business in the Twin Cities last week. Corneil FOX & family drove to Canton for turkey at Jay PACKARD's. Jack TERILL & family came down to visit friends. W. T. PORTER, of Barron, was in our village last week. Miss Malvina (TABER) Sundayed with relatives at Chetek.
