Mr. and Mrs. Art Taylor are moving into the Borgan home in Dallas and have settled their hired man, Elmer Dowd and family on their farm. Mr. and Mrs. Kennard Bishop attended the marriage of her sister, Miss Ollie Hanson to Bud Thiel at the Barron Baptish church Friday afternoon. Mr. Thiel is on furlough from Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. Over 60 mattresses have been completed under the supervision of Mrs. Harvey Weeks as a village project. Leonard Huseth sawed out over 30,000 ft. of pine lumber with his portable saw mill for Harvey Newmon, who now owns the farm known as the Blyton place in West Dallas. Mr. and Mrs. Lewie Newman of Sioux Creek had as guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Rambo of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Fanstegaard and Lulu Newman, Minneapolis and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Newman of Independence, Wis. Wallace Newman was the honored guest. Mrs. Perry Bishop, Mrs. Ruth Cole, Mrs. Arto Cole and Mr. and Mrs. P. V. Nicklow were dinner guests Monday at the H. S. Seeam home in Rice Lake. Eilene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Rogers is ill with scarlet fever. Ned McCann is having an attack of mumps.
