Wicker, Cumberland; Glenn E. Farr, Rt. 2, Cumberland; Vernon L. Prytz, Rt. 1, Cumberland; Henry N. Goodspeed, Barronett; Donald S. Lansin, Rt. 3, Cumberland; Fred H. Rhode, Rt. 2, Rice Lake; Archie H. Matton, Rice Lake; Andrew M. Kasper, Rt. 2, Turtle Lake; Nicholas Hiber, Rt. 1, Barron; Melvin O. Erb, Rt. 3, Barron; Orville R. Nickell, Comstock; Clinton M. Mr. and Mrs. Arne Arneson, Rice Lake, have received word from the Navy department that their son, Raymond Arneson, 23, is missing in action. He had been serving with the navy in the Pacific war area. Arneson enlisted in the navy two years ago and was a radio mechanic's mate, third class. Coach Lynn Jordan has announced that track drills at the Rice Lake high school will start next week. Practices for the time bing will be held indoors. Twenty-four persons participated in the first hike sponsored by the Rice Lake Skating club. The group made a seven-mile jaunt.
