A Mass of Christian Burial took place today at the St. Bridget Catholic Church in Loves Park, with Rev. Michael Fuller officiating. He was buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens at Machesney Park, Ill. Mr. Amans was born June 11, 1904 in Rice Lake to Fred and Bella (Roux) Amans. He married Melvina Robarge in Rice Lake on June 30, 1925. He was the retired owner of Aman's Furniture in Rice Lake. He moved from Rice Lake to Loves Park in 1977. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and G-Pac. Mr. Amans is survived by three daughters, Lovonne Brunette of Tacoma, Wash., Virginia Ferrias, Rockford, Ill., Lolly DeRieux, Enterprise, Ore.; a son Fred Amans of Loves Park; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and special friend Alice Scrol of Loves Park. He was preceded in death by his sons Eldon, James, And Dean."
