Amans, 80, of Loves Park, Ill., died Friday at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, Ill. Funeral services were held this Wednesday in St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Loves Park. Rev. John Mitchell officiated, and burial followed in Sunset Burial Gardens, also at Loves Park. The former Melvina Robarge was born June 25, 1907 at Eau Claire. She married Harry Amans on June 30, 1925 at Rice Lake. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Rice Lake and was active in senior citizen activities here. She is survived by her husband, Harry; two sons, Elden and Fred of Loves Park; three daughters, Lavonne Brunette of Tacoma, Wash., Ginny Ferrias of Rockford and Lolly DeRieux of Bend, Ore.; 15 grandchildre; 11 great grand- children; one sister, Cleora Bozewitz of Rice Lake; and several nieces and nephews."
