Submitted by: Doris Baldwin 10 March 2005 ************************************************************************ Jess E. Baldwin Jess E. Baldwin, 75, of Rice Lake, died Nov. 4 (1987) at his home. Funeral services were held Saturday at the United Presbyterian Church in Rice Lake, officiated by Rev. David Butler. Interment was made in the Cedar Lake Cemetery in the Town of Doyle. Mr. Baldwin was born April 14, 1912 at Pamplin, Va. On April 26, 1937, he married Ursula Oettinger at Madison. They have resided at the Town of Wilson in Rusk County since that time. He was a heavy duty mechanic and welder for most of his life, working as such for a number of natural gas pipeline companies as well as the U. S. Government Radar Installation at Tokotna, Alaska. He also did logging in this area. Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife, Ursula of Rice Lake; by brothers and sisters-in-law; as well as nieces and nephews.
