Baumberger and Joan Quinn) From Rice Lake Chronotype, May 15, 1991 "Funeral services will be held Thursday for Fritz Baumberger, 37, of Laomi, Ill., who died of natural causes Sunday at his home. The service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at Dobie with Rev. Allan Bradley officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals and from 10-10:30 a.m. at the church on Thursday. There will be a scripture service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Baumberger was born Jan. 1, 1954 in Rice Lake. He was a 1972 graduate of Rice Lake High School. On Sept. 9, 1978 he married Pamela Daugherty at Long Lake. For the last 4 1/2 years he was employed by Purity Baking Co. at Springfield, Ill. Prior to that he operated an oil rig in Gillette, Wyo., for many years. He is survived by his wife, Pamela of Laomi, Ill.; two sons, Jacob and Erick; two daughters, Andrea and Jessica, all at home; his mother, Joan Quinn of Rice Lake; his grandmother, Cleora Bazewicz of Rice Lake; one brother, Brad of International Falls, Minn.; and one sister, Heidi Konop of Columbia, Mo."
