Submitted by: Kent Robarge 10 December 2007 **************************************************************************************************************************** Obituary of Clarence Bilodeau in April 23, 1986 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Rites Are Planned For Clarence Bilodeau Clarence Bilodeau, 79, of Rice Lake died Tuesday at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Funeral services are planned for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rice Lake, with Rev. Eugene Teofilo officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery at Haugen. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake where there will be a wake service at 8 p.m. and a Moose service at 9 p.m. Mr. Bilodeau was born April 13, 1907 in Minneapolis. On May 14, 1929, he married Pauline Kodesh at Haugen. She died on July 11, 1974 and he later married Loletta Hollister Running on Aug. 9, 1975 in Rice Lake. He worked as an auto mechanic most of his life and owned and operated Bilodeau's Garage in Haugen for many years. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mary Bilodeau of Rice Lake, one stepdaughter, Carol Wides of Rice Lake, one stepson, Jack Running of Eau Claire, four stepgrandchildren, two brothers, Leo of Rice Lake and Ray of Maui, Hawaii, and three sisters, Marie Braatz of Rice Lake, Corinne Gehler of Cameron and Sister Blanche Bilodeau of Covina, Calif.
