Submitted by: Kent Robarge 10 December 2007 **************************************************************************************************************************** Obituary of Ezaide "Sadie" (Forrest) Boury in Wed., May 10, 1944 Rice Lake Chronotype (Rice Lake, Barron Co., WI) Mrs. Exaide Boury Mrs. Ezaide Boury, 83, R. 1, Rice Lake, a resident of Barron county for 74 years, passed away from a stroke May 6 after being sick three weeks. Funeral serviceswere held at St. Joseph's Catholic church May 9 at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Bernard Niggemann officiating. Burial was in Dobie cemetery. J.P. Schneider & Son had charge of funeral arrangements. Pallbearers were John Roux, Frank Saffert, George Mireau, Emmett McQuire, Frank Secore and Medrick Derousseau. Mrs. Boury was born in Canada Dec. 20, 1860. Before her marriage she lived at Rice Lake. She was married to Louis boury Aug. 29, 1881 at Dobie. Since her marriage she lived in Rice Lake and the old homestead, east of Rice Lake. She was a member of the Catholic church and the Altar Society. Surviving are four sons, Prosper, Rice Lake; Alex, Rice Lake; Alfred, Manitowoc; and Eugene, Canton; five daughters, Mrs. L. A. (Rosanna) Crotteau; Mrs. Wm. (Axelia) Roux; Mrs. C. H. (Eva) Johnson; Mrs. W. (Delia) Quick; and Mrs. R. (Leah) King; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Crotteau, and Mrs. Mary Crotteau, both of Canada; 35 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Azelia Morneau, preceded her in death seven weeks ago and a brother, Hosanna Forrest, preceded her in death in March 1943. Those from out of town for the funeral were two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Roux, Eau Claire, and Mrs. C. H. Johnson, Minneapolis; a son, Eugene, Canton; Ione Boury, Milwaukee; Mrs. Walter Patron, Chicago; Mrs. Gil Hearth, Sarona; Rosella Crotteau, Elgin, Ill.; Chester Crotteau, Milwaukee; Frank Forrest, Milwaukee; Mrs. Frank Fournier, and Mrs. Pete Fournier, Minong.
